The North Thompson Fall Fair & Rodeo has won many awards over the years.
2008: "Cowboy Up" Advertisement won second place "Best Ad Design" in 2008 Better Newspapers Competition for North Thompson Star/Journal
2007: Was awarded first place in its division by the Province of BC for the Agriculture at its Finest display. 
2007: "Cowboy Up" Advertising campaign won first place by the North Thompson Star/Journal in Black Press Newspaper Group Advertising Awards, BC Interior Division "Best Campaign to a Single Business, Class A"
1996: Was named "Fair of the Year" in its category by the BC Association of Agricultural Fairs and Exhibitions.
